Recorded in 1970, Norman Parker delivers an excellent memorial lecture at Boscombe Down for Group Captain Harry ‘Bruin’ Purvis. Bruin had a long and distinguished career in aviation, and spent much of it conducting trials and development work for the Royal Aircraft Establishment, Aeroplane and Armament Experimental Establishment and Civil Aviation Section (the latter two at Boscombe Down).
