In 2023, the world-renowned Empire Test Pilots’ School (ETPS) celebrated a major milestone – its 80th anniversary. To commemorate this, we are delighted to welcome the current Chief Test Pilot at ETPS, Col Rae, to deliver a talk on the rich history of this organisation, the current challenges faced in the world of test flying and what opportunities may lie ahead for both the school and the wider industry.

Visitors Welcome – you do not need to be a member of the Branch, nor a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society, to attend. Please note, due to the location, any international visitors require IVCO clearance in order to attend. This cannot be arranged by the Branch or MOD Boscombe Down and can take 21 days to process.
