Stevenage Branch Leslie Bedford Lecture 2021 (Online) – 1st June

The annual Leslie Bedford Lecture from the Stevenage Branch of the Royal Aeronautical Society will this year be taking place online. This event is open to all and it is a free sign-up process to access the livestream. This year’s lecture, being hosted by MBDA, will be given by Air Chief Marshal Sir Mike Wigston KCB CBE ADC, Chief of the Air Staff . ACM Wigston will be covering several subjects including:

  • The JetZero initiative
  • Space, defence and the UK’s Space Command
  • The Future Combat Air System
  • The Implementation of the Integrated Review from an RAF perspective

Chief of the Air Staff will also be taking questions after his lecture. Questions should be submitted in advance via the website detailed below, and these will be randomly selected and answered by the Chief of the Air Staff in the time available.

The event will be live streamed online from the Stevenage MBDA site.  Registration is required for this event, so to register and watch, please follow the link to the website below.  The website link is to the bespoke registration page for the talk, where attendees can sign up for the livestream, and are also able to submit questions to be answered live on the night.
