Due to circumstances beyond our control, the branch regrettably has to announce the cancellation of the 30th Sir Henry Tizard lecture, which was due to be held on the 11th October 2016.  We would like to thank those of you that purchased tickets for your support of the event. You will automatically receive a full refund of the ticket price shortly.

We hope that you will join us for our next lecture on 25th October, “The Use of Flight Simulation in Flight Test” to be given by Mr Matthew Enright.  The lecture will begin at 1715, and will be held in the Lecture Hall.

We are pleased to announce that the tickets for the 30th Sir Henry Tizard Lecture are now on sale. This year’s exciting lecture “Around the World by Balloon” presented by Dave Boxall, Chief Engineer with Cameron Balloons, will be preceded by a Drinks reception and a three-course silver service dinner served in the Officers’ Mess at MOD Boscombe Down.

For the first time ever, we invite you to purchase your tickets online below. Our ticketing system will also give you the opportunity to pre-order yourself a copy of the RAeS Boscombe Down branch’s 2017 calendar for £6. These will be ready for collection at the Tizard lecture.

During the ticketing process you will be required to enter your details relating to the payment. On the same page you will also need to enter your name for a second time against the General Admission 1, followed by the names and details of your guests in the boxes for General Admission 2, 3, 4 etc…

Due to time constraints and the necessary security procedures all guests are required to be a full UK national in order to attend this event.
