The Committee wants engineers at the start of their careers to play a full part in the host of technical and professional activities that the RAeS has to offer. As such, the Boscombe Down Branch has undertaken to, amongst other initiatives:• provide a local voice for young engineers;
• give young engineers the chance to develop their skills and knowledge;
• support young members in becoming more active within the RAeS.

The Branch aims to provide opportunities for engineers in the early stages of their career to get involved in a variety of activities and events and to meet other young members in the local area. In addition, by establishing useful contacts and helping them participate in a range of local events such as the Joe Morrall Award and lectures arranged by Young Members, the Branch aims to further both the professional and personal development of younger Members.More information on the Joe Morrall Award can be found here and the Branch FAQs are here.
