This is a very interesting site with information that has been of great help.
I am researching a gent, who was born in the town of Thetford, England.
His Name was ‘Fred/Frederick Royal’ aged 28y in 1918 and according to his marriage certificate his occupation was ‘cook’ for the 161st Aero Squadron U.S. Army, though he was listed with the US Army, would he have been a RFC personnel. his service # 286457.
Would you have any information that could be of assistance?

But I am afraid to say that it is unlikely that we as a local branch will have any information that will be of any help to you. We do have a small archive so I will pass on your interest to our curator.
